About the project

Roman Empire has great effect on many modern countries, cultures and cities. Today we still use some Roman terms in our language, people visit monuments that they built. It is crystal-clear fact that territories which Romans once ruled share common culture.
As project partners, we believe that our students, that is next generation, need to know their history and save the bridges between the past and future. Student will gain awareness of Roman Empire's cultural heritage.

The project has two main goals. Firstly, students will get to know more about the Roman relics in their neighbourhood. They will also learn about the other Roman sites in which project partners live now. Secondly, they will introduce the historical beauty of their region to other project partners.
Furthermore, they will have overall information about the Roman Era from the founding to the collapse, just as putting the puzzle pieces together. They will serve as their cultural envoy of their own environments.
Since some of the partners are from different country, students will communicate in English. This will help students improve their language skills. Students will also discover different Web 2.0 tools and apply them while doing activities.

We will organize acquaintance meeting at the beginning of the project. All partner schools will join the meeting and teachers will gather every two weeks via zoom, google meet etc.. Any partner can organize a meeting with another partner whenever she/he needs ,as well. Each partner is responsible for activities defined in calendar. Project's activities will be planned monthly. For five months, we will have six outcomes. Students will carry out the activities with the guidance of their teachers. Students of all partner schools will keep in touch and cooperate while doing activities especially the ones regarding Web 2.0 tools.
